Dr. Duke will speak and educate on the topic of your choice, while customizing all topics depending on time schedule.
Every workshop ends with 5-15 minutes of Q & A.
Wellness Workshops are designed for 20 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes (5-unlimited members).

Elite Wellness will provide FREE LUNCH, while Dr. Duke presents the workshop topic of your choice tailored for you and the time permitting, followed by Q & A.

Women’s Health

Women have unique health concerns, like pregnancy, menopause, and conditions of the female organs. Women and men also have many of the same health problems. Yet these problems can affect women differently.
For example,
• Women are more likely to die following a heart attack than men
• Women are more likely to show signs of depression and anxiety than men
• Osteoarthritis affects more women than men
*Our workshops on Women’s Health will cover several important topics that give women proactive knowledge and tips to keep themselves healthy and happy.

Exercise

Women have three major categories to think about when picking an exercise routine that is right for them. First, their age is important. A 30-year-old will probably be more focused on cardio, toning up and burning calories, while an 80-year-old is normally more focused on mobility and increasing range of motion. Next, a woman must consider any health restrictions when picking a workout. Last, a woman’s body type and what they are looking to achieve with exercising for their specific body.
*Our workshop answer these three topics and go more in depth with some of the new fads as well as some routines that have been around for a while.
**Women attending this workshop will leave with an understanding and directional path in regards to their exercise strategies.

Arthritis

If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with arthritis, it is important to learn more about the disease and its potential impact. However, pinning down the facts about arthritis can be difficult. Despite striking more than 50 million Americans, arthritis is an often misunderstood disease with a core of common myths surrounding it.
Arthritis is not just a disease of old age. Two-thirds of people with arthritis are under the age of 65, including 300,000 children. Arthritis is the leading cause of disability in the United States. Arthritis is actually a more frequent cause of activity limitations than heart disease, cancer or diabetes.
*The Arthritis workshop is designed to help educate people on three main areas: prevention, detection and proactive treatments.

Family Health

Chiropractic

Chiropractic is the health care profession of the 21st century! Becoming the fastest growing alternative health care profession in America, Chiropractic takes an amazing stance for the power of the human body.
“If it’s not broke don’t fix it”, was the old philosophy treating the symptom with drugs and surgery, but never finding and treating the root cause. This old philosophy made people chronically sick!
Proactive health care (Chiropractic) keeps your health in your own hands!

Chiropractic operates on the fundamental principles of the human body. The nervous system controls every cell, tissue and organ. For a person’s heart to beat, lungs to breathe, and to digest food properly, our nervous system must be functioning at 100%. A Chiropractor will efficiently locate any nerve interference and remove it to allow optimal function.
Everyone knows stress kills. Now, through Chiropractic people can be proactive in eliminating stress and nerve interference. Chiropractic treats people in pain, but specializes in keeping people well and functioning at their optimal potential throughout life!

How to Grocery Shop

Grocery shopping can be a pain, and also intimidating at times. Similar to other areas of health, unless you have a plan the results can be left to chance. Many people in America are not sure how often to shop, where to shop and what to buy once they get to the store. This has led to many kitchens being full of food that goes uneaten or left for bad.
First, assessing a person or families need for nutrition, then following a plan can make grocery shopping easier and fulfilling.
*The grocery-shopping workshop is comprehensive approaches to addressing what balanced meals need, how often to shop, what to purchase at the store, how to read labels and how to stay on budget.

Colds and allergies

The number of people in the U.S. who have either allergy or asthma symptoms are one in five. In the U.S. 55% have more than one allergen. Every year Americans average 1 billion colds. Children have between 6-10 colds per year.
If you tend to get “colds” that develop suddenly and occur at the same time every year, it’s possible that you actually have seasonal allergies. Although colds and seasonal allergies may share some of the same symptoms, they are very different diseases.
A virus causes common colds, while seasonal allergies are immune system responses, triggered by exposure to an allergen. Treatment of a common cold may differ greatly than treatment of an allergy.
*This workshop helps to distinguish between colds and allergies, how to be proactive during cold and allergy seasons, natural treatments and long-term preventative steps that should be made.

Nutrition

You are definitely what you eat! However, nutrition is more than just picking broccoli over pizza. Chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer are on the rise and it is important to learn how nutrition can play a role in prevention. The National Health Institute did a study that showed overweight and obese people in the U.S. is up to 70%.
Now days it is not enough to know what to eat, but when and how to eat as well. Proper nutrition has been linked to increased energy and productivity, decreased stress levels, proper sleep and a huge decrease in chronic illness.
*Our nutrition workshop has two major objectives: inform and give “baby step” solutions to help improve healthier nutrition. Small changes made consistently can make a huge difference in lifestyle. We want to give people confidence in making these necessary changes by making it easy.

Children’s Health

Raising Healthy Children

These days, health-conscious parents have to compete against any number of unhealthy temptations. The environment is becoming a major factor in unhealthy lifestyle changes.
The basics are still the core of importance, yet it is important for parents to learn how to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to raising healthy children.
*This workshop will cover the present day facts, the major factors in children’s health, and elaborate 10 family-focused habits that healthy families practice together to keep their children healthy.

Healthy Habits

Our habits and lifestyle choices are a direct reflection of the reality we live in. For adults, the older we get the more set in our ways we become. As parents it is vital to groom healthy habits into our children for their future. Children will follow the parent’s lead in every habitual way growing up, even how we sit or speak.
For parents it is not enough to say, “don’t do this, or don’t act like your father”. Setting a positive example through healthy habits will help to ensure healthy habits throughout a child’s life.
*The healthy habits workshop is geared around 6 major habit builders to practice what you preach to your children. The workshop also speaks on the developmental process of children and how they learn.

ADD/ADHD

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common childhood disorders and can continue through adolescence and adulthood. The symptoms of ADHD include difficulty staying focused and paying attention, difficulty controlling behavior, and hyperactivity.
*This workshop focuses on the 4 root causes for this disorder and proactive changes that can help improve and/or eliminate symptoms of ADHD, followed by Q & A.

Scoliosis

A conservative estimate of scoliosis patients in the U.S. is between 6-9 million.
Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine that occurs most often during the growth spurt just before puberty. The origin and cause of most scoliosis cases are unknown. Scoliosis cases come in grades (1-4) based on severity.
Most cases of scoliosis are mild, but some children develop spine deformities that continue to get more severe as they grow. Severe scoliosis can be disabling. An especially severe spinal curve can reduce the amount of space within the chest, making it difficult for the lungs to function properly.
Children who have mild scoliosis should be monitored closely, usually with X-rays, to see if the curve is getting worse.
*This workshop is used as a teaching aid. Learning about the condition of scoliosis, how to screen for it at home, and what to do if a parent is concerned for their child.

Life Management

Stress Management

Stress management starts with identifying the sources of stress in your life. This isn’t as easy as it sounds. Your true sources of stress aren’t always obvious, and it’s all too easy to overlook your own stress-inducing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Next, understanding your physiological reactions to the stress in your life. Further, only allowing certain stress in and alleviating the rest.
Stress will consistently beat a person down if they allow it. Taking charge of stress and taking control of your life can not only manage stress but can empower a person as well.
*The stress management workshop is all about identifying the stressors in your life. Learning to focus on only what you can control. Making a proactive plan for stress. Learning to face your stress instead of running from it. The 6-step guide to start managing stress NOW!

Sleep

Sleep is the most important activity in a person’s day! We sleep a third of our lives. The when, where, how and how long are the important factors to making sure you are taking advantage to that third of your life.
Learning the correct answers to the above questions, along with learning the body’s physiology as you sleep is vital. Sleeping properly cannot only improve your quality of life and life expectancy, but it also can improve your intelligence.
A survey was conducted by the NSF (1999-2004) revealing that at least 40 million Americans suffer from over 70 different sleep disorders and 60 percent of adults report having sleep problems a few nights a week or more.
*The sleep workshop answers the questions (why, when, where, how and how long) of sleeping. We will also cover the statistics and physiology of sleep. Participants of the workshop will leave with a strong knowledge of how to sleep well and the proactive changes to be made that night.

Peak Performance

Who wants to live their life in Peak Performance? Of course, Everyone! So why don’t most of us achieve this desire? Most people only achieve their Peak state a low percentage of their day, week, month and year. Is there a button that we turn on and off? If so, why is it turned off most of the time?
The answers are right in front of us. Asking and answering simple questions honestly can put any person on the fast track to peak performance. Allowing yourself to wake up excited every morning and still energetic till the time you go to sleep.
*The Peak Performance workshop is a favorite of Dr. Duke’s because he opens people’s mind up to their own realities, then shows them how small shifts in thought and action can allow for Peak Performance. A mental and physical 6-step process will align your wants with your reality to live at your Peak!

Time Management

“I don’t have enough time!” This phrase might sound familiar being the most used excuse in the world. It is also one of the easiest lies we can tell ourselves for not getting things done or taking time for ourselves.
So why do successful people have enough time and we don’t? The answer is obvious, we all operate with the same amount of time in a day, some people are just better at managing their time and making their time run efficiently.
*In this workshop we want to show the strategy that successful leaders use to manage their time and thus manage their lives. A system that works for top CEO’s can be a system we all utilize. We can all have enough time and feel good about how we spend our time!

Asthma/Allergies

Why do we get them? Where do they come from? Is there anything proactive I can do?
Answering these questions alone can give hope and some peace to parents and people suffering from asthma and/or allergies.
Understanding the triggers, knowing how to prevent attacks, and strengthening your immune response can all be learned and achieved by almost everyone.
*This workshop helps understand the origins; reviews toxic or deficient triggers and orchestrates proactive solutions.

Diabetes

Diabetes is becoming an epidemic! In 2011 a consensus was done that found 25.8 million Americans had diabetes (just under 10% of population). An even more alarming fact is that 70 million Americans were pre-diabetic!
Americans are acquiring diabetes at a staggering rate! Why is this disease becoming an outbreak? What is the cause? What happens to my body to develop diabetes?
Can I reverse Type II diabetes? If I am pre-diabetic can I proactively keep myself from developing diabetes?
Knowledge is great power when it comes to preventing, detecting and treating diabetes.
*The diabetes workshop is all about answers. Understanding the disease, the mechanism for the disease and the proactive steps that everyone should follow. Action steps will be given to help arm against this spreading disease.

Cancer

Every American knows of a parent or family member or loved one that has been diagnosed with cancer.
The #2 leading killer in America, becoming a diagnosis in more than 1 out of 3 Americans.
What are the causes for cancer? How can I be proactive against cancer? Is there life with cancer? Does remission mean victory?
Cancer is a silent killer that in most cases takes years upon decades to form and become detected. One of the scariest diagnoses a person can receive.
Learn how to give yourself hope. Hope for prevention and hope for elimination.
The best defense against cancer will always be a healthy lifestyle.
*This powerful workshop is designed to educate, inspire and develop inner strength through empowerment. Of course there is no cure-all for this deadly disease. However, we can live optimistically with strength instead of waiting to become a victim.

Heart Disease

This disease has damaged almost every family in America!
The #1 leading killer, heart disease, kills 1 out of every 2 Americans. Our brain and heart were meant to work in healthy condition for over 120 years. So why does some people’s heart give out in less than half that time? If I am predisposed because of my family history is there anything proactive I can do? If I have had heart surgery what should I be doing now?
Every American is fighting heart disease every day. The good news is that studies show that heart disease is completely preventable. Learn why and how!
*The heart disease workshop is an eye-opener and should be viewed by all adults. This workshop will review recent studies linked to heart disease, the mechanism of injury and the proactive lifestyle habits that prevent this massive disease. Learn how to put the power into your own hands.

Workplace/School

Proper Ergonomics

Ergonomics is an extremely important element to a person’s lifestyle that is greatly overlooked. Ergonomics helps to maintain posture and posture is a window into the spine. Spinal hygiene is vital in protecting a person’s nervous system (the system that controls every cell, tissue and organ in the human body).
There is no single “correct” posture or arrangement of components that will fit everyone. However, there are basic design goals for sitting at a workstation, lifting properly and typing at a computer or reading a book.
*This workshop stresses the importance of proper ergonomics, how it plays a major physiological role, and how it prevents aging and arthritis. We will also illustrate examples of proper ergonomics at the workplace and at home. Audience participation will be used to demonstrate all major ergonomic positions.
